November Book Club

What could be better on a foggy night then Mexican stew, cornbread muffins, &  dessert whipped up by our gracious hostess, Barb.  She led the discussion of our November read: "One Amazing thing" by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.  What amazing thing would we share if we were trapped underground with strangers?

On December 18th, Karen F. will host our annual Christmas celebration @ 6:00.  She will send us the details.  Karen B hosts our January book club and Susie leads the discussion of "Town Red" by Jennifer Moss. This books is the first in a series of mysteries with a metaphysical twist! You can buy a signed copy  for $11.95 (+S/H).

The Weird Sisters

Book club met at Nancy's for a delicious dinner of stuffed peppers and chicken.  After dinner we discussed the book The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown.  It was fun comparing our own siblings and children to the three sisters in the book.
